M. Eng in Mechanical Engineering-Materials and Composites.
2006-2008
Concordia University - Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Subjects studied: INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION, VIRTUAL SYSTEMS, STRESS ANALYSIS/MECH DESIGN, MECH BEHAV/POLYMER COMP MAT, MANUFACTURING OF COMPOSITES, NUMERICALLY CONTROLLED MACH., COMPUTER-AIDED MECH. DESIGN, COMBUSTION, ADVANCED MATERIALS, and METAL MACH.+SURFACE TECH.
Project: Generating a 3D model of drill with CATIA V5 based on geometrical and manufacturing parameters of the drill supplied by the user, within an interactive graphic user interface GUI, so the user have an friendly environment to change both design and manufacturing parameter to reflect the analysis of FE simulation, and also give him the opportunity to change the meshing parameter and build the meshing model, the user can alter different parameters geometric, manufacturing, and meshing to suite there need for specific FE simulation for different material, especially when drilling Fiber reinforced plastic (FRP).
B.Sc. In Mechanical Engineering
University of Baghdad, College of Engineering Iraq, Baghdad
Subjects studied: Mathematics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Metallurgy, Mechanics of Materials, Mechanics of Machines and Vibration, Manufacturing Engineering, Heat Transfer, Computer Applications, Machines Design, Industrial Engineering, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Power Engineering, Control and Measuring Systems, Mechanics of Material and Machines, Mechanical Engineering Drawing, Engineering Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Principles of Workshop Technology.
Project: Using a supersonic wind tunnel to analyze the behavior of flows under varying conditions, over a solid aircraft models to measure flow conditions and forces to tweak designs for aerodynamic performance without building numerous fully-functional prototypes, The high flow velocities used in this project go hand-in-hand with large pressure gradients, which lead to continuously varying flow properties (i.e., temperature, pressure, density, velocity, etc.). We study the discontinuous variation in those properties across a shock wave.
